Hivesville Hotel is located at 1 Main St Hivesville, north-west from Wondai, en-route to Proston and Lake Boondooma in the township of Hivesville, so named after the Hives family who owned substantial property in the area about 1890 and early 1900s.
The Hivesville Hotel is a distinctive red brick two-storey building, ideal for a cold ale or glass of wine, an overnight stay in modestly priced good accommodation, delicious pub grub and great company. The high metal pressed ceilings are not to be missed.
